Inspect pipeline welds faster with a remotely controlled X-ray system operating from inside the pipe.
The crawler positions an electronic source tube precisely at each weld while film is wrapped around the outside of the pipeline. This controlled setup supports consistent images, shorter exposures and efficient field production.

Each crawler is adjustable throughout its recommended size range using wheel spacers designed specifically for that crawler type.
X-ray crawlers substantially speed up conventional film inspection. A remotely controlled crawler carrying an electronic source tube is inserted into the piping while film is wrapped around the welds. The operator positions the crawler at each weld, exposes the film and moves on to the next weld.
Compared with gamma rays used in traditional radiography, X-ray crawlers can produce higher-quality images while requiring a smaller barricaded area and shorter shot time.
